Android SDK

Looking to get started on an Android app? You've come to the right place. Use our Android library to get up and running in only a couple steps.

Step 1: Get the SDK

To install our SDK using Gradle or Maven, add the following dependency to your project:

  • Gradle
  • Maven

Step 2: Import and Configure the SDK

Use the credentials provided to you on your application's settings page. Once this call completes, we can begin making calls to the Scout API.

Step 3: Making Your First Call

At this point Android Studio should provide hinting so that you are aware of all the methods available to you via the SDK. Below is an example of some of those methods in action.
